A wabi sabi style vase
1. Product description
Color: beige-green
This vase has the organic shape of a slightly distorted sphere. Hand-formed from textured clay, it's glazed with wood ash.
2. Purpose
A vial for arranging delicate floral decorations. Its organic shape is perfect for small meadow flower arrangements. It can be used with both live (in water) and dried plants. As a sculptural form in itself, it can serve as decoration in interiors decorated in the style of eco, Japandi or Scandinavian minimalism.
3. execution technique
This vase is hand-formed and glazed using a unique, archaic technique using wood ash. This type of glaze creates unique, exceptional surface effects known as "stringing."
4. Colors and character
The clay from which the vase is made has a light, warm beige hue. The glaze is sandy beige in places, grayish in others, and greenish in others. This is a typical color scheme for ash glazes.
5. Dimensions and size
The shape is similar to a ball with a diameter of about 15 cm.
6. Functionality
For presenting live and dried plants and flowers.
7. Unique Features
The hand-forming and materials used make it a unique and collectible item. It evokes a sense of connection with nature, harmony, and balance. It allows us to reflect on the vicious cycle of growth, blossoming, return to its original state, and re-building. Just as plants draw nutrients from the soil, upon dying, they either return directly to nature or, as in this case, as ash, give rise to a new form with the clay.
8. What does the user gain?
An extraordinary, unique object created from admiration for the beauty hidden in nature and resulting from simplicity.
